Irrational Man is the 2015 film written and directed by Woody Allen. Starring Joaquin Phoenix and Emma Stone, we are starting to hear about release dates from various territories. Latest countries to announce include Australia, Brazil and Portugal, with more details on the Netherlands premiere.
Adorocinema announced the Brazil date – 6th August 2015. This comes hot on the heels of the US release date of 24th July 2015 (probably New York and Los Angeles only, going wide two weeks later).
Australia’s date was announced on Twitter – 20th August 2015.

Portugal release date is 3rd September 2015.

‘Irrational Man‘ will also premiere in the Netherlands as part of a larger retrospective of Allen’s work being held at the Eye Film Institute. It runs 16th July til 16th September, and include 25 films. The previously announced date was 20th August 2015, it’s unclear if this special premiere will be earlier.
Interestingly, the Cannes Film Festival felt the need this week to confirm the film will NOT be part of their 2015 programme.
