Paying off their huge investment, Amazon has finally released Café Society, the latest Woody Allen film, on their Prime Video service. It is the first film of Allen’s to be released by Amazon, following on from a series Crisis In Six Scenes. Sadly, it appears to be only available in the US.

The release comes five months after its US cinema release, and seven months after it first premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. Amazon has also released the film on DVD and Blu-Ray.

There’s been some word that Amazon is interested in Allen’s next, 2017 film as well. It remains to be seen if the relationship will continue.
