Woody Allen has been out around town, and so we are starting a new irregular feature – Woodywatch – to capture various Allen sightings. We will, of course, exclude Allen’s Monday night residency at the Carlyle Hotel.

On 6th Feb 2013, amfAR (American Foundation for AIDS Research, a charity Allen has supported before) held it’s annuual gala event in New York, at the Cipriani Wall Street. It was a star studded line up of celebrities at the event, including Allen and his wife Soon-Yi Previn, and at least one Woody Allen alumni Chloë Sevigny (Melinda And Melinda).

What the news has picked up on most is the appearance of Lindsay Lohan. Allen and Lohan had a dinner together back in May, and the two obviously caught up at the gala. Many photographers could not resist the photo opportunity. We’ll leave the casting speculations to others, eh?
