It’s Thanksgiving, and we agree with IFC when they say that the very best film about the holiday is Hannah And Her Sisters. The film is bookended by Thanksgivings as we follow the lives of this large crazy family.

So this week we thought we’d go with our favourite scene from ‘Hannah And Her Sisters‘. Woody Allen’s wonderful monologue that could well sum up what he’s been trying to say his entire career. And, more importantly, reasons to be thankful.

As a bonus! ‘Hannah And Her Sisters‘ was one of rare cases where the same film won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and Actress for Michael Caine and Dianne Wiest. Unfortunately Caine was not at the awards but we can go back in time anyway!
