Here’s our usual weekly update on Café Society. It’s currently rolling out in Europe, as it slows down in the US. We got some reviews from the UK, as well as new videos with a couple of the stars.

Café Society has now earned $22,535,256 globally. The US inched forward to $10.5m, with France and Russia still making up the top 3. Spain and Brazil should break the 1 million mark next week.

The US should close out around the $11-12m mark once it’s run is over. It will overtake Magic In the Moonlight in the next day or two, making Allen’s most successful film since Blue Jasmine.

Café Society is out now in the UK and Argentina, which should add to the box office. It’s been getting some good UK reviews. Here’s one of our favourite UK reviewers, Mark Kermode.

We also loved this one from Robbie Collins in the Telegraph.

And this big double page in the Express.

September will also see the film released in South Korea, Hong Kong and Italy. Italy in particular should make a big difference to the box office number. $35-$40 million is probably a good ballpark.

Warner UK, the UK distributor, has posted more videos of Jesse Eisenberg talking about the film.

There also seems to be more from Cannes being released now, including this new interview with Kristen Stewart

And more critical acclaim is highlighted in ecards

More next week!
