Irrational Man, the new film written and directed by Woody Allen, is set to premiere at the 68th Cannes Film Festival. The festival will be held on 13th til 24th May 2105 and, as usual for Allen, screened out of competition. Allen himself seems likely to appear, as well as the film’s stars Joaquin Phoenix and Emma Stone.

In fact, Cannes is usually such a big deal that we expect Parker Posey and other co-stars to appear. The last time Allen was at Cannes was for Midnight In Paris, and travelled with almost everyone in that film.

No announcement about the exact date, but it is next month. As with every film at the festival, it is bound to make an impact and the critics will lead the charge. It also means we will probably find out a lot about the film before it’s US premiere on 24th July.
