We had a short twitter chat with Jerry Zigmont, trombone player for The Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band – the long standing musical group that Woody Allen has been performing with for decades. He revealed to us more about the schedule of Woody Allen’s music schedule for 2013.

After 6 straight months of shows, they will be taking a break from their regular New York residency at the Carlyle. The final Monday night show is 10th June 2013.

A special last show of this run has been announced for 14th June 2013 – a Friday.

Allen then heads to France to direct his 43rd feature, due for release in 2014. Shooting in the south of France, the band will do two French shows – one in Lyon and one in Antibes – both in July. More details to come.
