Woody Allen’s back in his treasured NYC, and that means he is the occasional man about town again. We’ve got details of two new appearances he has booked in – one a university appearance , the other a classic film screening.

First, Allen will appear at Princeton University Library on 27 October 2013. Allen has donated his personal papers to the library, and it sounds like there’s lots of gold in them hills. Early drafts and unused screenplays are just some of what has been donated. 48 boxes in all have been donated.

The new print will also play in LA presented in person by director James Mangold, but without Allen. That screening takes place on 7th October at Samuel Goldwyn Theater.

Along with these one off appearances Allen continues his Monday Night jazz residency at the Carlyle in New York, working on the Bullets Over Broadway Musical, editing the 2014 film and probably writing the 2015 film. Another typical year for Allen!
