Hundreds of people have responded to the casting call sent out last week in France, calling for extras for Woody Allen’s 2014 film.. Shooting in the south of France next month, the new film is a period piece set in the 1920s.

Filming is due to start at the beginning of July. The 2014 film stars Colin Firth and Emma Stone, and will see Allen return to comedy.
